His early environment played a defining role in shaping his path — most notably, his bedroom once served as the mixing room of legendary Slovenian DJ UMEK, an influence that left a lasting impression on his artistic direction.

Nil’s journey into DJing and production began at just 10 years old, driven by a musical background and a clear vision. Over time, he developed a disciplined and intentional approach behind the decks, focusing on giving the people an experience filled with so much energey, the room is bound to erupt and go crazy. This is something that has been proven time and time again with Nil's performances. As said by the 5FM team "At just 18 years old you are doing the absolute most… What we saw that night, we were all blown away by your performanace"

Based between Cape Town and the UK, Nil has quickly established himself across both club and festival scenes. At 18, he became one of the youngest DJs to headline We Love Summer NYE Festival and was selected as a Top 5 finalist in the ULTRA Music Festival South Africa DJ Search. He has performed live on Good Hope FM and 5FM to over 260,000 listeners, and played at #1 venues and events including Club Paradise (SA), HALO (SA), CABO (SA) and at ADE 2025. Nil has also supported acts such as Kurt April (UMF SA HEADLINER) and Crazy White Boy, continuing to build his presence both locally and internationally.
